According to me, is Udaipur. Breathtakingly beautiful, Udaipur was so tranquil we almost felt like we had left India and found ourselves in another land. After a couple of weeks of enjoying the generosity of others, Aman and I decided to splurge and treat ourselves to a bit of luxury in the place they call 'the Venice of the East'.
The jewel of Udaipur is the superlative inducing Lake Palace. Even James Bond thought it worthy of a visit in the movie 'Octopussy'. The only way into the Lake Palace is with a dinner reservation and despite the 3000 rupee price tag every moment was worth it.
